Brandon's Bio - Brandon's Tattoo Gallery

Hello, my name is Brandon Montano and I am "One wild and crazy guy!" Being the youngster of the shop I spend my time trying to grow facial hair. When I am not strategically placing ink into someone's skin, I tend to my family. Oh yeah, you heard right, family. I am quite the family man, changing diapers, washing dishes, that's me. I have a little toddler running around and a baby on the way, so needless to say, my day is never over.

I spend my mornings diving the fine oceans of Monterey, where I frolic with the seals and swim with the fishes. Upon exiting, I look like a Mossman allowing me perfect time to scare the locals. Then I go home and make my boy laugh and watch cartoons. I try and make my wife's life as least stressful as I can. Then it's off to work, Creative Visions is the place for me. We book appointments and take walk-ins, all-in-all, I try to make everyone I tattoo as comfortable as possible. When I am not tattooing, I turn to the drawing board and get further appointments' designs out of the way. I have no problem with custom work, in fact, I encourage it. That way people get what's really on their mind and in the long run... enjoy.

As for my tattoo career goes, I started rather early. My brother was my first influence, He showed me some tattoos that he had done in the past. I used to draw all throughout my life so I took what knowledge I had and improved on it. I went to a tattoo parlor with a friend one time and just looked at the designs on the wall. I kept my thoughts open when drawing and put together a portfolio. Once I turned eighteen I went in to get my tongue pierced and that started my path to ink.

Once I graduated It was on to California for me. I met Sean first then brought a portfolio to Margie the owner. Next thing you know, I was apprenticing. I watched Margie and Sean for about six months until they thought I had what it takes. Starting off with little pieces, kanji, butterflies, and names, I worked my way to a variety of art. Here I am three years later, staying busy with new ideas coming. I'm open to new ideas and designs, and try to help out my clients get the right tattoo for them. As for my future of tattooing, I plan to keep on working.
